Ice
Should I warm and melt like ice
At least then I've won half the fight
Should I evaporate in air
Then I'll be in my element there
Should I melt like ice from heat
Then I could stand on my two feet
No longer sealed within the frost
Showing my winter who is boss
If fire should cause my ice to melt
Then I could tell you how I felt
Spring flies in on budding wings
It's time to sort through dusty things
